Cervera&Pioz in the 3rd Edition of the Annual Romanian Convention of Architecture and Design (ROCAD)

The 3rd Edition of the Annual Romanian Convention of Architecture and Design (ROCAD), one of the most important architectural convention in the East Europe, will take place on the 7^th and 8^th of May, in Bucharest, Romania. Within the framework of this edition, we all will be celebrating 150 years since the foundation of the first Architecture school in Romania, and 550 years since the first official attestation of Bucharest. 

Among the distinguished guests and international recognized personalities in architecture and design that will honour the board of ROCAD, are as follows:

From the Universidad de Alcalà, Madrid (www.uah.es), in the masters program MUPAAC, director Rosa Cervera and the students have formed a group called 'slum up!'. Their aim is to improve life conditions for slum dwellers, or those who live in deteriorated areas...

NEW BOOK PUBLISHED!

A new book has been recently published named 'MUMBAI RECICLADO / MUMBAI RECYCLED', which re-envisions the slum in Mumbai- the business capital of India and one of the most dynamic cities in the world. The books gives an introduction to an array of perspectives and reflections upon the growing phenomenon of this unplanned city, and search for alternative solutions in the practice of traditional urbanism.

ROSA CERVERA HAS BEEN SELECTED AS THE DIRECTOR OF THE URBANISM SECTOR FOR BSWomenB

Recently a conference was held by Barcelona-Shanghai Women Bridge (BSWomenB), which is an intercultural project that seeks to unite entrepreneurs and professionals from different generations living in the catchment area of both cities, with the aim of promoting technology transfer and share knowledge and cultural values. The goal is to improve intercultural trust.

And Rosa Cervera has been selected as the Director of the Urbanism sector for BSWomenB.
